Alchemy Elements, a New Series of Online Writing Courses with Kristin Kaye

January 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until March 4, 2022

Award-winning author Kristin Kaye is launching a new series of writing classes: Alchemy Elements.

Whether you consider yourself a writer or simply someone with gems to share, Alchemy Elements will help you to translate your lived wisdom to the page. You will explore essential aspects of narrative and the writing process and learn the tools, practices and perspectives to hone your craft. Alchemy Elements is Kristin’s popular course, Literary Alchemy: A 6-Month Book Writing Course, broken into three key segments:

  • FOUNDATION $260 (4 sessions, starts 1/13): FOUNDATION focuses on personal narrative. Prepare to excavate familiar stories to unearth unexpected perspectives and valuable material for your memoir, personal essay or work of general or literary non-fiction. (FOUNDATION is a pre-requisite for both the Craft and Crucible classes.) (Class runs January 13, 20, 27 & February 3). Cost: $260
  • CRAFT  (6 sessions, starts 2/13): CRAFT classes coach you in the tools of the trade so you can commit your story to the page and finally write the powerful story (or book!) that is yours to write. (Class runs February 17, March 3, 17, 31, April 7 & 21). Cost: $390
  • CRUCIBLE (6 sessions, starts 4/28): CRUCIBLE classes explore our basic assumptions about identity and whose story matters. This class invites us to drop the personal and cultural stories that no longer serve to write the stories that we most need to hear. (Class runs April 28, May 5, 19, June 2, 16, 23). Cost: $390

Join one or join them all. Details about each class, as well as other Alchemy classes, can be found here.

Alchemy FOUNDATION begins January 13. Register here to be part of the powerful community of writers and everyday Alchemists forging their essential story, their book and their lives.

~ I don’t usually buy online courses, but there’s much more here than just a course. Alchemy not only gave me the tools, accountability and confidence to finally make becoming an author a reality, but it changed how I hold my power and the way I see writing. – Tressa, Oregon

~ Kristin is creative, eloquent, super-organized, resourceful and a positive genius! I loved every module, all the reading selections—especially as they illuminated the lessons at hand, which built upon one another beautifully. – Ardtih, California
