Lessons from 9/11 and 3.11:

On September 11, 2001, almost 3,000 people were killed as a result of two terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in NYC, a third on the Pentagon in Washington, DC, and a fourth foiled attack which resulted in a plane crash in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. That tragedy became known as 9/11.

On March 11, 2011, a magnitude 8.9 earthquake struck the coast of Japan, one of the largest quakes ever recorded, setting off a tsunami. That tragedy led to the deaths of over 16,000 people and became known as 3.11.

After the 3.11 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, a group of 9/11 survivors began regularly traveling to Japan to listen to 3.11 survivors, to engage in dialogue, and to share lessons of healing and hope.

Join six leaders from this group of amazing people for a live discussion on their experiences together, and the lessons they learned and shared which may be relevant to today.
