Event Details

Gather together with award-winning author Kristin Kaye  and the Literary Alchemy community online to calm your mind, soothe your being and write and share the stories we most need to hear. The act of putting pen to paper (or fingertips to keyboard) can connect us to the very inspiration and solace that we seek. Our lives are filled with gold if we take time to notice, honor our lived wisdom and write vital stories into being. 

Kristin hosts six mostly silent sessions of meditation practice to quiet the mind and see old stories with new eyes, writing time with simple but generative exercises to get the flow going, and reading your pages if you are so inspired. Rooted in the Mind-Body Awareness quadrant, these workshops are a  safe virtual space to explore the vital intersection of  meditation and writing to gain access to our deepest wisdom and commit that wisdom to the page one word at a time.

KRISTIN KAYE holds an MFA in Creative Writing and is an award-winning author, ghostwriter and book coach. Books include her novel Tree Dreams (Winner 2018 Int’l Book Awards, Finalist Indie Book Awards) and her memoir Iron Maidens: The Celebration of the Most Awesome Female Muscle in the World (Finalist 2006 Oregon Book Awards). She has taught workshops at schools, colleges and environmental organizations across the US and written on a wide array of topics from business and design to self-help, spirituality and Tibetan Buddhism as a ghostwriter. She is a practitioner of Dzogchen and Somatic Meditation.
