Shelley Souza is a writer, editor and director. In 1981, she came to America from London to work as a theatre director. She was invited to be a founding member of the Women’s Theatre Project in New York, and worked with several established and emerging playwrights to develop and stage new work at Pan Asian Repertory Theatre.
Shelley holds a Master of Fine Arts in Directing from U.C. Irvine where she studied with the legendary Jerzy Grotowski, and joint honours B.A. in English and American Literature and Theatre Studies from the University of Warwick. She is a member of The Authors Guild and PEN America.
